The ODW uses our Exactemp Technology to constantly regulate the delivered water temperature (+/- 2°F) you desire, ensuring the perfect water temperature for the shower, laundry and all other hot water needs. The best part is; as long as the faucet is open the ODW will produce hot water. Now, your five minute shower can last as long as you'd like.
This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My brand new tankless on demand water heater has been nothing but a problem from day one. My plumber has been to the house 6 times in 2 months to try to fix this thing. Quietside will not replace the unit until you try replacing all kinds of parts & prove that the unit is defective. I have to prove to them that a brand new $1500 heater doesn't work? A brand new water heater shouldn't need to have parts replaced. I called the tech support department & the supervisor hung up on me when I told him this. The product is terrible & the customer service is worse.

Had this installed last week, it's great! The water gets very hot with very good pressure. It does take a lot of power, it's 75amps. The apartment we stay at doesn't have good electrical system, so lights dim a bit. But I love the hot shower!

Just installed a new Marathon 85 gallon unit yesterday and already had to replace defective upper thermostat. Their customer service techs are totally useless and have no plumbing knowledge whatsoever. Im fortunate that I own a nice digital multimeter with temp probe so I could relay all of the temp readings to these people. The upper element also has a very slight leak so their going to replace that as well but I have to do that myself. If I didnt have some experience working on these things I would be out several hundred dollars paying someone to fix it. This unt has a manufacture date of Feb. 2011 so they are obviously still using the same junk thermostats. Paying a thousand dollars for a water heater and having to replace parts on day one is totally unacceptable. This thing is real close to being ripped out and going back to where it came from. If your not good at fixing things I would avoid this brand and take a real hard look at the hybrids, if this goes back I may try that route.

I did a self installation. It was far more involved than just replacing my old water heater because its mounted on the wall requiring me to run all new gas and water lines as well as new venting to the outside. The extra work was well worth it. I performs wonderfully providing a neverending supply of steamy hot water. This thing is a godsend with a wife and 3 kids, all of whom love to take long showers. It performs exactly as advertised.

The RA-32 is the most popular residential model for the whole house and for commercial applications, such as specialty restaurants, convenience stores, hotels, pet grooming shops. A perfect back-up to Solar and Geothermal passive heat recovery systems and a powerful replacement for boilers and storage tanks used in Hydronic heating and Radiant Floor heating systems. First, to be clear, I have a Seisco RA-28, the slightly smaller version of the RA-32, and have had it (in use) for just over 2 years. My house is a 4bdr/3bath and I have 3 adults + 2 pre-teens + 1 baby. This heater handles all three showers running at the same time with minimal heat loss. On that front, it is a great heater.Unfortunately, when it has a problem, it seems to be of the "replace everything inside the case" variety. My heater's plumbing sprung a leak (at a seal) after about one year of use. Since the circuit board is exposed inside the case, the water sprayed the entire board down and caused the system to fail within the time it took to walk from a newly cold shower to the garage where the heater is located. Had to have a cert. tech replace all coils and the electronics board- fortunately it was covered under my home warranty. One year and two months later, the insides literally blew out, gushing water throughout my entire garage and forcing me to pull the emergency service disconnect. I am currently shopping for a new heater.

Nothing to complain so far. This model supplies non-stop hot water for 2-3 bathroom house. You save some space too by replacing indoor tank water heater with a outdoor tankless water heater. Unit is about the size of a regular suitecase. No hassle of venting if you go for the outdoor model.You never run out of hot water. Installing it closer to the bathrooms and kitchen is a good idea, but keep in mind that instant water heaters are rated high BTU, and usually require a direct gas line from the meter. Insulating the hot water pipe will reduce the water waste waiting for hot water. That is true for tank or tankless water heater.Unit requires electrical connection since there is no pilot. I would recommend professional installation unless you are an skilled plumber & electrician.Also, remember to order the service valves which is required for installation. Not all valves meet the code requirements of certain states. So check before ordering the valves. An easy choice is "Rheem RTG20220AB" includes hot & cold water valves and pressure relieve valve. Please note that "Rheem RTG20220AB" and "Rheem RTG20220" look same but are not the same; "Rheem RTG20220" is not California (low lead) code compliant.

Five years ago I installed a LP Bosch tankless water heater. It died recently and the cost of repairs was more than the new Reem. New one works just as well as the Bosch and cost about half. Time will tell if it holds up.

I did a lot of research trying to find the best water heater for the lowest price and this unit is what I ended up getting. It was shipped very quickly and was in perfect condition. I installed it myself with no problems. I've had it for a few months and is working great.

The Rheem 40 gallon water heater is nearly identical to the GE water heater, I found at my local Home Depot, but for less money: Including shipping cost, I saved about $70. The water heater arrived in great condition to my home in a weeks time. After installation, it lit right up and is working fine. I get the hot water I need below the middle setting.Thanks,

It is possible I am using the unit for more than it was designed for but the bottom line is I am not happy with it.Reasons:1) Do not think the unit flows the amount of water it advertises2) The temperature of the water fluctuates

You know how people say stuff like, "they oughta make on that" or "would'nt it be cool if".. Well, Rheem made one that does, and it IS really cool. I ordered this jem on line through Amazon, from Evolution plumbing. I screwed up and ordered a Nat gas unit vs an LP. I noticed the error one minute after I clicked the order in. I filled out the order cancellation form on line, figuring I had a mess on my hands. 15 minutes later, a real person from South Carolina called me on the phone. The guy was from Evolution Plumbing. HE ACTUALLY SPOKE ENGLISH !! In 3 minutes he had the order cancelled and the new order was placed. He and I chatted about plumbing stuff and he was quite helpful. 5 days later UPS delivered the water heater. I had a few questions so i called the number on the side of the unit, printed in bold 1 inch letters. 45 seconds later I was talking to a guy from Joisey. Im from Joisey too ! He new the machine inside and out, and HE SPEAKS ENGLISH !!!! A half hour later i called back with a few more intallation questions. I got a lady on the phone in 1 minute, and guess what ! She's from Joisey too !!! She corrected a few mistakes that I made, and the unit kicked on and has been purring like a kitten ever since. She new this unit like she was married to it !! This is our 2nd Ariston heater - the first is a 4 gallon under the kitchen sink. We got this one to sit in our basement bathroom and feed it, the main floor bathroom sink and a future 1/2 bath on the 2nd floor. It just makes so much sense to keep a small amount of hot water ready to use right near the fixture. That way you don't have to waste a bunch of water if you need hot water. These seem very well insulated, so I think that the standby losses are negligible. Our main heater is a gas tankless, and these really help improve the performance for intermittent uses such as washing hands or dishes. I just put this inline with the tankless, so that it can "smooth" out our hot water. The tankless works best for steady uses, such as showers and filling a dishwasher. Adding one of these Aristons gives you the best of all worlds.
